KellyBased out of Calgary, AB, Kelly is a children's portrait photographer for Little Icons. With a background in commercial photography, graphic design, and a Major in Visual Arts/Painting, Kelly truly is an artist. She's an enneagram 8, her favourite place to be is in the mountains, favourite destination: anywhere she hasn’t been. She loves a good rainstorm. We’re talking torrential downpour, which she says we don’t have enough of in Alberta! She loves pretty much all food- especially if she doesn’t have to cook it. Kelly is active, and adventurous, always game to try new things. Watching her kids discovering and doing something they love is what really lights her up! Kelly is a visual story teller. With an attentive and gentle soul, Kelly’s bright, yet calm nature provides an open invitation for kids to be comfortable and unabashed in front of her lens. The joy she emits and the patience she provides, while photographing kids, helps put everyone at ease! The first thing that drew us to Kelly was her warm smile and her inherent ability to connect and capture authentic moments. She is extremely patient and a good listener. She observes the world around her with sparkly eyes and a hopeful anticipation. Her favourite thing about photographing people is uncovering their personalities, quirks, and what makes them who they are. This is what we are about. We are so happy to have Kelly photographing these kids, revealing their character and celebrating them! |
